Cropping & Pasture Seed

Unlike general cropping, which refers to the primary production of planting and harvesting common crops. Pasture cropping makes use of the perennial grasslands that are either entering dormancy, or that has been prepared for grazing to cultivate annual crops instead.

Pasture cropping improves business turnover as farmland productivity is maximised, allowing farmers to capitalise on otherwise vacant land. Pasture cropping is most suitable for NSW’s Central West since the region has no dominant seasonal precipitation, and therefore farmers may use rainwater at any time of the year.
