About Us

The Rural Centre Pty Ltd was established in Orange, NSW, in 1964 and joined the Combined Rural Traders (CRT) buying group in 1984. The business expanded into Manildra around 1988 and then opened another branch in Molong in 2007.

In July 2010, five longstanding employees of the business purchased the company from the original owners. Along with 16 staff across our three branches, our leadership team of five works together without any outside shareholders.

The Rural Centre is proud to offer a diverse inventory of Rural Merchandise, Outdoor Power Equipment, Fencing Products, Livestock Supplies, Agronomy Products and Stock & Domestic Water Management Systems with the basic philosophy of ‘we service what we sell’. We provide for all markets from the domestic home garden through to the sizeable broadacre cropping and livestock enterprise.

As a leading dealer of Husqvarna Outdoor Power Products and Davey Water Products, The Rural Centre offers a complete service from advice, sales, service, spare parts, backup, warranty, and system design. With well over 20 years of experience, you can rely on.

The Rural Centre strives to provide excellent advice, field days and industry updates to our clients and support R&D companies – such as DPI, CSIRO, and GRDC. As a business, we are committed to evolving with the requirements of our clients. Although we have an extensive range of products and services, we also have specialized staff to provide technical expertise in specific fields!
